Farriyan Seiom Hossain, M.Sc., Audiology

Seiom’s holistic approach embodies each patients’ internal and external factors, to find the best match for their hearing and lifestyle needs. In other words, Seiom believes that, “You’re more than just a pair of ears; you have a life to live between those ears and around those ears”.

Seiom is a well-rounded clinician. At Western University, he was a member of their Auditory Processing Disorder Lab, specializing in pediatric patients. At McMaster University, his time in the Auditory Development Lab and their Psych, Neuro & Behaviour (PNB) program were fundamental to his strong research and clinical acumen.

He is also proficient in earwax removal services, approaching each case with enthusiasm and confidence—even when faced with difficult cases. Additionally, Seiom is very passionate about custom earmolds: impressions, technicals and acoustics, and relevant education/benefits.

Outside of work, Seiom can be found in the dojo, either practicing karate or assisting younger students with their kata (karate forms). If he is not in the dojo, he is off-roading somewhere or taking the scenic route; enjoying local restaurants; or maybe playing and enjoying some music.
