Absolutely. We already serve patients in over 25 retirement residences in the Ottawa area and even run regular clinics in some of them; we are happy to coordinate directly with their staff. Call us to request that we get in touch with the activity manager of your loved ones retirement residence to see if we can set up a recurring hearing clinic directly on site.

We encourage it! Especially if your loved one has memory or communication difficulties, the presence of a caregiver helps ensure excellent care and follow-up.

Initial comprehensive assessments for new patients usually take between 60 and 90 minutes. We take the time to explain everything clearly and answer any questions you or your loved one may have. Service appointments for hearing aids and earwax removal appointments usually take about 30 minutes.

An initial comprehensive assessment appointment for new patients costs $375 and includes a complete hearing test, earwax removal (if needed) as well as results and recommendations. Service appointments for hearing aids and earwax removal appointments are both $175.

Many private insurance plans and health benefit programs offer coverage for hearing assessments and services conducted by audiologists, as well as for hearing aids. We can provide documentation to support your claim and help answer questions about coverage where possible.

We offer convenient on-site card payment for appointments; we also accept on-site payment with cheque or cash. If a family member is paying on behalf of a patient, we accept e-transfers as well as credit card payment over the phone.
